THE MAYOR OF BATH'S
YOUNG CITIZEN OF THE YEAR AWARD
The Mayor’s Young Citizen of the Year will receive £150 to acknowledge their personal progress or service to the community of Bath – either a sustained effort or one extremely noteworthy act. The runner-up will receive £50.
The competition is open to 16, 17, and 18 year olds who must be staying in the area for the next year as the Young Citizen will be invited to accompany the Mayor to events in the City.
To be considered the teenager must either live in Bath, or attend a school/college in the City, or be a member of a Bath-based group.
The candidate for the Award and their nominator will both need to be available to attend a 15-minute interview with the panel of judges during the day on (date in early July to follow). The Presentation Ceremony will take place at 5.00 pm on (date to follow) in the Guildhall.
