A group of international students were welcomed to the Guildhall and given a tour of the building before enjoying a civic reception in the Mayor's Parlour.

The Mayor, Councillor Bryan Chalker,  greeted the students whose home countries included Turkey, Italy, Poland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Belgium and France.  The Mayor explained the role of the Mayoralty and showed the students some of the many historical and cultural items in the Parlour.
