The Mayor of Bath

Pupils from Lycée la Nativité in Aix en Provence welcomed to the City by the Mayor of Bath in the Guildhall Parlour.

Pupils aged between 14 and 16 years old from Lycée la Nativité in Aix en Provence were welcomed to the City by the Mayor of Bath, Councillor Bryan Chalker and Mayoress, Glenys Chalker. 

This was the 7th annual exchange between Lycée la Nativité and Abingdon School. It is a very popular trip with parents and pupils making some lasting friendships and pupils getting  the opportunity of practising the language.

The French pupils stay in Abingdon for a week and. as well as Bath, were visiting Oxford, Cadbury World, Warwick Castle, the British Museum and the Globe Theatre in London.
