Mayor hosts Multi-Faith Gathering at the Guildhall

Guildhall, High Street, Bath BA1 5AW » Sunday 5th February 2012

The Mayor of Bath, Councillor Bryan Chalker, hosted a Multi-Faith Gathering at the Guildhall on Sunday 5th February 2012.  Citizens and visitors to Bath were all invited to attend and to explore his theme - 'Bath's Industrial Heritage' from the perspective of different faiths.

A free buffet was provided  whilst there were opportunities to discover more about Baha'i, Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, Jewish, Muslim, and Sikh faiths and the Sai Baba Group.  Each faith group gave a music based presentation to reflect their respective beliefs. 

The Mayor and Mayoress, Mrs Glenys Chalker, Councillor Peter Edwards, Chairman of the Council and his consort, Mrs Ann    Edwards, greeted the faith representatives before the event began.
