THE AWARD

The Mayor of Bath's Citizen of the Year Award seeks to recognise exceptional volunteers who give their time and effort to helping other people without expecting anything in return. The award is open to residents of Bath who have contributed to the well-being of the City and its people by long-term voluntary work or one very special act.

At the end of January 2011 the 783rd Mayor of Bath will be searching for the his Citizen of the Year.  If you know of anyone who deserves to be recognised for their voluntary work and has helped to enhance quality of life in the City, and they live, work or belong to a group based in Bath, please complete a nomination form  and return it to the Mayor's Office, Guildhall, Bath, BA1 5AW by 9.00 am Monday 28 February 2011.  It does not matter if they have been entered before, as long as they have not actually won the award.
